He tumbles several time violently twards pit road and finally stops in the infeild grass. He recieved two black eyes yet started the Daytona 500. Earnhardt some how maintained car control to finish seventh. Meanwhile there was an amazing 5-car battle for the lead where the margin of victory was a mere fourteen one-thousands of a second. With two to go, Waltrip is able to get under Earnhardt. suddenly Earnhardt #3 cuts down and turns Waltrips #11 HARD into the wall.
